One of the Caribbean's finest shore-entry snorkeling sites is just 50 yards offshore from Coral Gardens. Wade in from the beach and you're swimming with sea turtles, spotted eagle rays, parrotfish, angelfish, and nurse sharks gliding over vibrant coral formations. No boat needed — the reef is right at your doorstep in 3–6 feet of crystal-clear water.

Water Sports
Snorkeling at Bight Reef
One of the best shore-entry snorkeling sites in the Caribbean, steps from the resort. Shallow reef in 3-6 ft of water with sea turtles, stingrays, parrotfish, angelfish, nurse sharks, and spotted eagle rays. Best at high tide.
Scuba Diving
Specializes in diving with no more than 8 people to ensure a personal touch. World-class wall diving along the north shore drop-off.

Protected by an offshore barrier reef with gentle waves, crystal-clear turquoise water, and no seaweed problems. The central section near Coral Gardens offers the best snorkeling at Bight Reef. Public beach with no private sections.
Sapodilla Bay

Very shallow, calm, warm water — excellent for small children and wading. Less crowded than Grace Bay with beach chair and umbrella vendors available. Beautiful white sand, and a great alternative on windy days when the north shore is breezy.
Taylor Bay

Extremely calm, shallow water extending far offshore — you can walk out hundreds of feet. No vendors, no facilities. Very tranquil and uncrowded in a residential area. Bring your own supplies.
Long Bay Beach

Shallow, warm water extending far offshore with consistent trade winds. The premier kiteboarding destination. Horseback riding operators run sunset rides here. Less developed with a more natural feel.
